On a base of Effetre pale pink opaque glass, a centre stripe of rare
Double Helix silver infused test glass simply named KA-357 was
reduced and encased to bring out the color shifting mother of pearl hues
of pink and blues. The outside edge of each stripe shows the metallic
reduction of the silver infused glass which also fumed the golden hues
to the pink base glass.

These are so unique as it was a surprise as the hues that the
test glass would bring to each bead. Based on the lighting these beads
shift their colouring from pale pinks to blues.

CiM's Stone Ground, an opaque silver yellow, is a base for these court jester inspired bead set. Patterns of Double Helix's silver infused glasses of Gaia, Electra and Psyche were reduced and encased to capture the rich jewel tones.
Double Helix's Aurae was speckled & dotted and then reduced to a gleaming gold.

A 2007 limited edition glass, Blue Green Algae, was used to create this set of rich coloured spacers. Each core of this glass was deeply encased to create beads that seem to glow from inside out. This glass has tiny sparkles of blue aventurine suspended that reflects the light from all angles.
These would be perfect matched with crystals and bali silver!

Effetre's basic black is the base for these Paris inspired scrolled beads. Double Helix's silver infused glasses, Electra, Triton, Psyche, Aurae and Nyx show the variegated nature of each of these glasses within the hand drawn scroll work.

This antique inspired set of beads was created with a unique batch of CIM's Pumpkin Unique-1. This unique batch created a rich burnt sienna semi-opaque glass rather than the bright Halloween style orange.
This caramel hued glass is not longer available for sale, so I have a small amount of it to share with you. Once it is gone, it is gone forever!

This glass has been paired with shards and dots of Double Helix's Aurae to create glittering textures. Along with spacers of Light and Dark Amber, this set is one of this seasons trendiest colors going into Winter and Spring 2009.

99% pure silver foil was generously covered.
A custom frit blend, from shades of greens and blues,blended with Double Helix silver glass frits, Gaia and Nyx, was sprinkled and reduced to raise the silver crystals to the surface.
The micro droplets of silver have been fumed to by the
silver glass to a golden cast.

NOTE: All these flat tab beads are hand formed as are all Pendragonfyre Beads. I use no molds or presses in my designs. I prefer to create true artisan handcrafted beads, making each set a truly unique creation for my clients.

Ravenna, Italy is famous for its stunning 5th-6th century mosaics that decorate the
walls of its churches and monuments. Eight of Ravenna's monuments are
designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Ravenna was the western seat of the Roman Empire and the capital of the Byzantine Empire Europe from the 5th to 8th centuries.

Ravenna is near the Adriatic coast in the Emilia Romagna region of northeastern Italy.

The blues, greens and gold tones of these mosaics have inspired this set.

This one of a kind 17 bead set was created with a CiM's newly released
limited edition dark as night green base named Slytherin Unique.
Hand pulled stringers of Double Helix Psyche create the hand drawn "S" monograms,
for the house of Slytherin, on each barrel bead, as well as the complimentary
shard wrapped beads.
The Psyche was reduced to a bring out the hues of purple, green, blue and gold against the dark green base of each bead.

This mini set of 5 focal bead set was created with CiM's Purple transparent glass named Simply Berry as the base. Double Helix's Triton and Nyx, magnificent silver infused glasses was used to create uniquely unexpected details under the clear encased surface.
Bubbles of Double Helix's Triton and Nyx were added, reduced to a mother of pearl shine and then encased in clear to create the colourful droplets of colour of the silver infused glass.

My Vacation is almost over.... but I have new beads!!

A few new beads from my time off from the dayjob... It was great to spent more time at the torch this week.
I am working on a new style of beads based on a technique I learned from a fellow lampworker. These beads are currently in the kiln and will be posted on ebay this coming Wednesday.
Based on the popularity of my Tiara series, these new beads will start a new series of historical inspired botanical scrolled beads... I am SO Excited!!
