Creativity flows when the sun shines!

I have felt over the past few weeks that all the rainy weather was really begin to affect my creativity.  It is difficult at times to constantly see gray skies around us and not be impacted in our moods.

Now that the sun is finally making an appearance every few days, it seems to be brightening the world around us and turning on the creativity feelings again.

I have been trying out some new ideas in glass, so I welcome your comments on this week's offerings..

Pandemonium
Chaos Bead Series #1

"Word coined by Milton to designate the capital of hell in Paradise Lost, from pan- + Greek daimōn demon"

Materials: Effetre, Reichenbach and Double Helix Glasses


This set of 7 Chaos series beads were created on a base of Effetre Black with layered dots of Reichenback Iris Orange Raku and Intense Black. The reactions of the Raku and black swirls were captured under a clear encasement.
Highlights of Double Helix's rare 381R, create the bling dots for this set.



Summer Brights
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy and Effetre Glasses


In this set, CiM's Hades black is combined with Effetre's Yellow Apricot and Dark Rose.

Glacier and Cocoa
Opposites Attract Series #27
Materials: Effetre and CiM- Creation is Messy Glasses


Another study of opposites attract in this set of 14 simple dotted beads. Seven beads in CiM's Glacier opaque with Effetre Dark Cocoa dots and the other seven with the opposing combination.

BONUS: 4 Glacier and 6 Cocoa spacers are included in this set.



Apple Blossom Focals #1
Materials: CiM Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses


This set of 3 handformed flat beads were created on a base of Effetre Pale Apple Green Yellow on floral petals layered with CiM's Peace White and Razzleberry were scattered and captured under a clear encasement.
Highlights of reduced DH Aurae to bring out the metallic shine were the final touch.



Watercolor Focals #2
Materials: Effetre and Double Helix Glasses


This set of 3 handformed flat beads were created on a base of Effetre clear glass on which a custom mix of Double Helix silver glass frit was sprinkled. This mixture of Gaia, Triton, Psyche and Kronos were reduced and encased under clear glass to allow the pattern to seem to blow like petals in the wind.

Each bead has a single DH silver glass murrini added and their patterns captured under a dot of clear glass. Highlights of reduced DH Aurae to bring out the metallic shine were the final touch.
