Just a quick post for today - Pendragonfyre Love Sonnet Beads!

Just a quick post for today! I spent last weekend making some of my favorite sets of beads allowing my color choices to seem random from my "treasure chest" of older CiM glasses.

CiM Blush was one of the first colors of glass that I tried from Creation Is Messy and the love affair with the palette began. 

Here is a photo of the first bead set that I created with CiM Blush and Double Helix Aurae from way back in July of 2009.

 

Now for today's beads!

 

 

Starting on a base of Effetre white encased in CiM - Creation Is Messy Blush, my own hand mixed Pendragonfyre Love Sonnet frit with a sprinkle of raspberry was sprinkled to create these romantic beads. 

 

The spacer beads are included in this set are made with pure CiM Blush.

 

 

Perfect for the spring and summer season!

Glitter Rounds

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy and Double Helix Glasses

This glittering set of 16 beads was created with a base of CiM's Journey Ltd Run transparent glass on which Double Helix Ekho fine silver glass frit were generously sprinkled. Each bead was then reduced to bring out the glorious metallic bling in hues of blue, gold, copper and rose!

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 6 goddess series beads was created on a base of Effetre light purple pastel glass. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, CiM's rare Black Currant, DH silver infused glasses RE-391 catalyst and Psyche. The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix Aurae completes the metallic highlight droplets on each bead.

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 11 goddess series beads was created on a base of Effetre Cobalt Blue opaque glass. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, CiM's Hades black, DH silver infused glasses RE-391 catalyst and Kronos. The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix Triton completes the metallic highlight droplets on each bead.

Materials: Effetre Glasses

Effetre Cobalt Blue is dotted on Effetre White base glass. A mix of cubes and dotted rounds along with 6 cobalt spacers complete this set perfect for summer jewelry designs!



Pretty in Pink Nuggets
Materials: Effetre Glass and Glass Diversions Frit

If you love pink, you will love these 14 nuggets. On a base of Effetre Rose Quartz transparent, Glass Diversions Pink Ribbon frit, a fine mix of pink opaques was sprinkled and melted into the surface. The result is a lacelike pattern on each bead. So pretty and dainty for spring!

Silver Orb Selection
Materials:  Double Helix and Effetre Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

This set of 15 encased round beads were created on various base of Double Helix's silver glass including Aurae, Ekho, Kalypso, CE 352 and BE 462.When each bead core was wrapped in 99% fine silver wire and reduced they create the dramatic hues of blues, creams and purples.  The silver wire when heated has created the droplets and streams of silver captured under the thick encasement of Effetre clear glass.

Silver Trails Series # 71

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

This beadful set of 22 Silvertrail beads combine bright summer opaque tones wrapped with 99% Fine Silver Wire. Beads include Effetre cobalt blue, light grass green, butter yellow and CiM's Pimento orange red and purple Poi.

Silver Trails Series # 72

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

This beadful set of 22 Silvertrail beads combine bright summer opaque tones wrapped with 99% Fine Silver Wire.
Beads include Effetre Transparents light emerald green, light aqua and opaque light grass green, butter yellow and CiM's Pimento orange red.

Springtime Rounds
Materials: Effetre Glass and Glass Diversions Frit

On a base of Effetre White,  a mix of Glass Diversions Robin's Egg and Coffee Bean frits, sprinkled and melted into the surface. So pretty and dainty for spring!

Goddess Bead Series #120

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 11 goddess series beads was created on a base of CiM's African Grey Limited Run glass. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, CiM's rare Black Currant, DH silver infused glasses RE-391 catalyst and Kalypso.
The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix rare OO411 completes the metallic highlight droplets on each bead.

Etched Tapestry Organix
Materials: Effetre, Vetrofond Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

Various bases of Effetre and Vetrofond glasses were combined with fine silver foil and wire and sprinkled with my own hand blended glass frit to create this organic set of beads. Glasses include Effetre Turquoise Copper Green, Coral, Violet, Copper Green, and Vetrofond Mauvellous cream.
These beads were etched to a smooth matte organic feel.

The Blue and The Grey
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy Glasses

Combining two wonderful CiM glasses, Glacier blue and Adamantium grey created this bead set full of dotted beads.
Lots of Glacier blue spacers (15) complete this 25 bead set.

Etched English Garden
Materials: Effetre Glasses

Starting with a base of Effetre Light Grass Green, these beads were sprinkled with my own hand blended glass frit  glass frit to create this English Garden inspired set of beads.

Turquoise Dotties
Materials: Effetre Glasses

Starting with a base of Effetre Light Turquoise, these focal beads were heavily encased with Extra Clear and dotted with white opaque glass.
Coordinating Turquoise dotted beads and clear spacers complete this set. This set contains 5 focal encased, 4 matching dotted and 4 clear spacer beads.
So pretty for spring!

Effetre clear glass was rolled in 99% fine silver foil and sprinkled with 
jewel tone transparent frit from Robin Koza.
The silver foil creates window panes with the richness of the blues and browns peeking through each portal.

Silvered Green Frit Rounds
Materials: Effetre Glass, Pendragonfyre frit and 99% Pure Silver Leaf

Effetre clear glass was rolled in 99% fine silver leaf and sprinkled with 
a custom Pendragonfyre glass frit.

Materials: Effetre and Double Helix Glasses 

This set of 10 encased round beads were created on a base of 

Effetre Extra Clear glass. 

Handmade Silver Glass Murrini chips were added, reduced and encased in more 

Extra Clear glass. The treatment of heat strikes the silver glass and brings 

out the spectrum of colors.

Carnivale Shimmer

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy and Double Helix Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

This set of 10 handcrafted beads combine lots of fine silver and striking silver glass shards!

On a base of CiM's African Grey opaque glass, fine silver foil was melted in.
Shards of Double Helix Terranova 2.1 silver infused glass was added and
struck to bring out the amazing hues of magenta, blue and green.

The silver microdroplets have a stunning golden sheen to complete each bead

Electra Silver Glass Focals
Materials: Effetre & Double Helix Glasses

Where the cerulean sky meets the azure sea you will find a treasure in these beads!

This gleaming set of beads is a combination of Effetre's light ivory and
Double Helix silver infused glasses.
Starting with the ivory base, each bead was wrapped with silver foil, Electra silver
infused glass shards. Double Helix murrini were then added, reduced and encased
in clear glass to capture the mother of pearl sheen of each murrini.
A final twist of clear and focal pieces are complete.

The silver glass was reduced to bring out the irridescent metallic hues of blues, green, purples and pinks. The metallic bling seems to shift in hues when looking from different angles.

This beadful set of 21 Silvertrail beads combine the vibrant hues of a vineyard at harvest wrapped with 99% Fine Silver Wire. CiM's Mulberry is co-ordinated with Effetre greens and purples.

Atlantis Rounds

CiM's Sea Blue Green opal glass, Atlantis is the glass used for this  set of rich hue beads.
This glass is wonderful in how it appears in various light or darkened shades within the same glass.

Silver Blue Bubbles
Materials: Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This unique set of 9 beads were created with a combination of Effetre Clear glass and dewdrops of Double Helix silver glass, Psyche.
The silver glass was added, struck and reduced to mother of pearl shine and then encased to create the colourful droplets of colour of the silver infused glass.
The result is gentle hues of purples, creams, greens and blues in each encased bubble.

This set of 18 CiM Razzleberry round beads start out as a pink rose transparent glass that striates with copper streams when worked in the flame. The result is a juicy copper rose glass that changes in hue depending on the angle you look at the beads. Very Unique as this glass is no longer available anywhere!
11 Double Helix Aurae mini spacer beads are included to raise the shine and richness of the copper rose beads. Awesome Bling for this fall and winter!
