Spring 2011 Color Forecasts, how will you use them?

Looking for inspiration for Spring 2011 jewelry designs?
Pantone has released their color forecast for next season and below is a snapshot of the palette.

In her overview, Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®, conveys that “By cleverly combining complementary colors, those that are opposites on the color wheel, they have created a striking intensity to the palette. These unique color combinations make it possible for consumers to pair existing pieces in colors traditionally associated with fall, with new favorites to punch up springtime wardrobes.”

Check out Pantone's site and download the 2011 Spring Report, click here.

Over the next few weeks, I will be highlighting some bead sets using these color hues that are convertible in CiM- Creation Is Messy as well as Effetre glass colors.

I can already imagine experimenting with Beeswax (CiM Stoneground or Effetre Opal Yellow) paired with Honeysuckle (CiM Razzleberry) and Peapod (CiM Celadon).

How will you use the new Pantone palette in your designs?

Smiles,
Darlene
