The later half of 2025 has been quite a ride! As a result, I have not had time in my glass studio until a few weeks ago.
October was our annual vacation break.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in York, England, one of the country's most medieval cities. So much history to explore, learn and absorb.
It was our first time outside of North America and it will definitely be on our list for future trips away.
Here are a few pictures from the city of York.
We covered as much of the city that we could over 7 days.
We walked the city each day and tracked 42 kilometers in total.
We visited the York Minster, The Jorvik Viking Centre, every museum, took a course in chocolate making and enjoyed a boat tour on the Ouse.
Some wonderful food, including Drake's Fish & Chips, Yorkshire Pudding and a charming steak dinner in the secret garden at Forest restaurant.
Enjoy these photos of our trip!
