Summer Soltice Bead Offerings

Wyvern
Dragonscales Series #2

"Name derived from the Saxon word Wivere, which means "serpent""

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Fine Silver foil and Val Cox Frit

On a base of CiM's Olive green, 99% fine silver foil was added and layered with Val Cox Purple Rose frit. The combination was then melted into the surface and the beads
were tumble etched for a smooth tactile feel.  Each micro-drop of silver has taken on a golden glow.



Carnivale Shimmer
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy and Double Helix glasses and 99% fine silver

This set of 10 handcrafted beads combine lots of fine silver and striking silver glass shards! On a base of CiM's Hippo opaque glass, fine silver foil was melted in. Shards of Double Helix Terranova 2.1 silver infused glass was added and struck to bring out the amazing hues of magenta, blue and green. The silver microdroplets have a stunning golden sheen to complete each bead.

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 10 goddess series beads was created on a base of CiM's Hippo opaque grey glass. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, White, Double Helix silver glass, Kalypso. The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix Aurae completes the highlight droplets on each bead.




Pale Green Love Sonnet
Materials: Effetre Glasses and Pendragonfyre frit

On a canvas of Effetre Light Emerald Green Yellow over a white opaque core, these 9 beads were sprinkled with a custom Pendragonfyre frit blend to create this Love Sonnet inspired set of beads that have been etched to a tactile smooth feel. This frit is my own hand blended glass frit to create these patterns that resemble garden flowering vines and lattice. Six Light Emerald Green Yellow spacers are included in this set.



Pink Blooms Nuggets
Materials: Effetre Glass and Valerie Cox Frit

If you love pink, you will love these 7 nuggets. On a base of Effetre Rose Quartz transparent, Val Cox Pink Lipstick frit, a fine mix of pink opaques was sprinkled and melted into the surface.


Etched Tapestry Organix Barrels
Materials: Effetre Glasses and 99% Fine Silver

Various bases of Effetre glasses were combined with fine silver foil and wire and sprinkled with my own hand blended glass frit to create this organic set of beads.
Glasses include Effetre Mint Green Opal, Violet, Opal Yellow and Light Turquoise. These barrel beads were tumble etched to a smooth matte organic feel.

A birth of a new series of beads?


I have been playing with silver foil and frit combinations lately. Some of the beads look very medieval and dragon-like.... Let me know what you think, (with a comment) and maybe this style will become the next Pendragonfyre limited numbered series!

Golden Purple Dragonscales


Can you imagine a golden purple dragon?  If one existed, I imagine it to look like these beads!

Materials: Effetre Glass, Fine Silver foil and Val Cox Frit

On a base of Effetre New Violet opaque, 99% fine silver foil was added and layered with Val Cox Purple Rose frit. The combination was then melted into the surface and the beads
were etched for a smooth tactile feel. Each micro-drop of silver has taken on a golden glow.



Pale Rose Pink Love Sonnet
Materials: Effetre Glasses and Pendragonfyre frit

On a canvas of Effetre Rose Quartz over a white opaque core, these 7 beads were sprinkled with a custom Pendragonfyre frit blend to create this Love Sonnet inspired set of beads that have been etched to a tactile smooth feel. This frit is a custom handmix that includes Raku and rare Purple Rose to create these patterns that resemble garden flowering vines and lattice. Four Rose Quartz spacers are included in this set.




Silver Glass Selection
Materials: Effetre and Double Helix Glasses
         
This set of hand-formed beads was created on a base of Effetre clear glass on which a custom mix of Double Helix silver glass frit was sprinkled. This mixture of Triton, Kronos, Gaia, Psyche, Ekho and Aurae was reduced and encased under clear glass to create these one of a kind patterns.

Materials: Vetrofond, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 8 goddess series beads was created on a base of Vetrofond Medium Topaz transparent glass. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, Wine Red Brown, stormed Trautman Zeus silver glass with Double Helix silver activator to bring out the colors of this glass when it is reduced and encased.
The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix Aurae completes the highlight droplets on each bead.

Goddess Bead Series #129
"Roman myth name of a goddess of flowers and spring, meaning flower"


Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 11 goddess series beads was created on a base of CiM's Mint Lozenge, an opal minty blue green. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, CiM Indigo blue, stormed Trautman Taxco Turquoise with Double Helix silver activator glass to bring out the colors of this glass when it is reduced and encased. The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot.
Double Helix Aurae completes the highlight droplets on each bead.



Golden Aquamarine Streams
Materials: Effetre and Double Helix Glasses


This glittering set of 10 beads was created with a base of Effetre Light Aqua transparent glass on which hand drawn streams of Double Helix Aurae were added and reduced. Each bead was then reduced to bring out the glorious metallic bling!



Purple Passion Etched Rounds
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy Glasses and Pendragonfyre frit

On a canvas of limited edition CiM glass named Mint Lozenge, an opal minty blue green, these 11 beads were sprinkled with a custom Pendragonfyre frit blend to create this set of beads that have been etched to a tactile smooth feel. This frit is a custom handmix that includes various fine grind purples including rare Purple Rose to create the multi-hued patterns.



Golden Raspberry Cubes
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy Glass, Fine Silver foil and Val Cox Frit

On a base of CiM's Tuxedo Black opaque, 99% fine silver foil was added and layered with Val Cox Wild Raspberry frit, a fine mix of pinks. The combination was then melted into the surface. The result is a golden peachy-rose brown silvered pattern on each bead.

Effetre Light Turquoise is paired with Light Ivory to create the 8 dotted beads in this set. Etched for a organic tactile feel and matched with 13 spacer beads, this set is perfect for spring and summer jewelry pieces.

These beads were etched to a matte organic feel with the silver microdots sprinkled among the tapestry patterning.

Golden Dragon Rounds
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy Glass, Fine Silver foil and Val Cox Frit

On a base of CiM's Chai Unique#3, 99% fine silver foil was added and layered with Val Cox Pink Lipstick frit, a fine mix of pinks. The combination was then melted into the surface. The result is a golden peachy-rose brown silvered pattern on each bead. So rich and vibrant for summer!

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 11 goddess series beads was created on a base of CiM Adobe glass, an adobe brown opaque. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, Stormed Psyche with silver activator glasses to bring out the colors of this glass when it is reduced and encased. The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. Double Helix Aurae completes the highlight droplets on each bead.

The combination of Effetre Extra Dark Red and White in a trio with CiM's Cornflower Blue opaques creates a lively and vibrant set for summer. This 21 bead set includes spacers to coordinate with the dotted beads.

This glittering set of 13 beads was created with a base of rare Effetre #713, a golden transparent glass named 14K on which hand drawn streams of Double Helix Aurae were added and reduced. Each bead was then reduced to bring out the glorious metallic bling!

This set of 46 beads includes the following transparent rainbow colors: CiM's Azure and Effetre's Red, Orange, Yellow, Emerald Green and Ink Blue.


Pale Aqua Love Sonnet

On a canvas of Effetre Pale Aquamarine over a white opaque core, these 9 beads were sprinkled with a custom Pendragonfyre frit blend to create this Love Sonnet inspired set of beads that have been etched to a tactile smooth feel. This frit is a custom handmix that includes Raku and rare Purple Rose to create these patterns that resemble garden flowering vines and lattice. A couple of Pastel Purple Ink Blue spacers are included in this set.

Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy, Effetre, Trautman Art and Double Helix Glasses

This set of 7 goddess series beads was created on a base of Effetre rare Streaky Denim opaque glass, a blue and purple opaque that takes on golden metallic sheen. Each goddess bead was then layered with dots of Effetre Dark Ivory, CiM's Hades, Lapis Unique and Trautman Art Glasses, Zeus and Golden Emerald.
The combination of the glasses create the multi-hued portals captured under each clear glass dot. TAG's rare JD Mix completes the highlight droplets on each bead.
Four Streaky Denim spacers are included in this set.



Pink Blooms
Materials: Vetrofond Glass and Val Cox Frit

On a base of Vetrofond transparent Rose, Val Cox Pink Lipstick frit, a fine mix of pinks was generously sprinked and melted into the surface.
The result is a golden rose bloom pattern on each bead. So pretty for summer!



Silvered Java Rounds
Materials: CiM - Creation is Messy Glass and Glass Diversions Frit

CiM's African Grey was rolled in 99% fine silver foil and sprinkled with Coffee Bean frit from Robin Koza. The frit has webbed among the microdrops of silver to create a rich set of 8 round bead. A timeless classic for both casual and business fashions!



Peruvian Violet
Materials: Effetre Glass and Glass Diversions Frit

On a base of Effetre white opaque, Glass Diversions Peruvian Violet frit, was sprinkled and melted into the surface.  The result is a dainty floral pattern on each bead. So pretty for summer!
